Beaver Falls, PA – There are not many colleges across the United States that have the athletic history of Geneva College. Playing its first football game in 1890 and the first ever college basketball game in the United States in 1893, Geneva College has a tradition that is second to none. With all the years of intercollegiate athletics on College Hill, it stands to reason that there have been numerous greats that have highlighted their talents for more than century.
Geneva College and the Golden Tornadoes athletic department have committed to honoring those athletes that achieved greatness with the creation of the Geneva College Athletic Hall of Fame. The first class will be honored on campus at Reeves Field on November 12th during halftime of Geneva’s regular season football finale against Westminster College.

The Hall of Fame class was selected by the Geneva College Hall of Fame committee based on nominations that were submitted through the Hall of Fame nomination process on the Geneva College athletic website. Nominations for the class of 2017 may be submitted beginning December 1st. The nominations submitted that were not chosen in 2016 will remain active for three years.
