Men’s Basketball Rolls over Pitt Greensburg; 91-63

Beaver Falls, PA – Five Golden Tornadoes reached double digit points leading to a 91-63 win over Pitt Greensburg on Tuesday, November 22. The aggressive win lifts Geneva’s overall record to 2-2.

“This was a great team win,” said head coach Jeff Santarsiero. “We really came on in the second half; our defense cranked it up.

We had five guys in double figures including Nick Rusyn (Salem, OH/Salem) who earned 10 points for us off the bench.”

Jimmy Leichliter (Connellsville, PA/ Connellsville) recorded a double double with 16 points, 11 rebounds.

Freshman Ethan Moose (New Castle, PA/Neshannock) led the team’s point count with 19.

Chaese Vaudrin (Uniontown, OH/Lake) posted 15 points, seven rebounds.

Chaese and Jimmy had great games. We were able to share the ball like we should.”

Danny Torok (Grove City, PA/Grove City) tallied 15 points.

“Now, we enjoy Thanksgiving and get ready for Hiram on Saturday.”

On Saturday, November 26 at 6 p.m. Geneva is set to host Hiram College. Admission to the game will be free to all fans in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday.
