Beaver Falls, PA – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll which recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. Geneva College had the most student-athletes in the conference who worked to make the list with 63. In 2014, Geneva student-athletes also topped the list with an impressive 59 but were able to best themselves this fall. In the fall 2016 season, the conference saw an 11.1 percent increase in students on the honor roll from last fall season.

“Our student-athletes and our coaches place the highest priority on the work that is done in the classroom,” commented Geneva’s Athletic Director Van Zanic. “While we celebrate our successes on the field, we are equally as excited with great accomplishments off the field. To that end, we are very honored to have Geneva College place the highest number of student-athletes in the PAC Honor Roll this past fall. This is simply a confirmation of the hard work that our men and women are putting in both academically and athletically across the board.”

Ever fall sport had athletes on the honor roll: women’s tennis (9), football (9), Women’s Cross Country (7), Men’s Cross Country (7), Women’s Soccer (11), Men’s Soccer (10), and Women’s Volleyball (10).
