The Titans created momentum early in the fourth, outscoring Geneva 12-2. Ford posted a good three-pointer and jumper to start the Golden Tornadoes run to recovery at 65-60 with 6:09 left in regulation.
A battle beyond the arch begun as Westminster hit a three followed by a good three-pointer by Marissa Heaney. Ford’s pair of free throws brought the game to 70-66. Geneva still trailing, Ford hit another jumper for a two-point game; 70-68 with less than two minutes remaining.
Geneva’s comeback attempt fell short as Westminster reentered the win column with a 76-74 decision.
