Beaver Falls, PA – Chatham University handed Geneva women’s basketball its fifth straight loss at Metheny Fieldhouse on Wednesday, January 11 in a 81-69 final. The home court loss lowers Geneva overall record to 4-10, 1-6 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC).

Down 10 points, Geneva rallied shorting Chatham's lead at the end of the first quarter 18-14. The Golden Tornadoes managed to tie the game once but Chatham would edge Geneva again in the second 21-19 for a 39-33 halftime score.

The Cougars opened the third quarter hot outshooting the Golden Tornadoes 26-17. Despite the fourth quarter 19-16 comeback attempt, it was too little too late.

Geneva returns to the road in hopes to end the losing skid at Waynesburg on Saturday, January 14 starting at 1:30 p.m.
