New Wilmington, Pa. – Geneva College baseball’s six-run seventh inning rally fell short on Wednesday, April 26 single nine-inning contest at Westminster; 14-10. The high scoring affair lowered the Golden Tornadoes overall record to 8-26, 2-18 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC).

The Golden Tornadoes’ defense couldn’t keep the game tight, allowing three more Titan runs in the bottom of the seventh; 13-9. After each team notched one more run each, Josh Grant was forced to take the loss on the mound. He went 4.1 innings, giving up eight runs, seven hits, and struck out three.
Geneva will head to West Virginia to open the series against the Bethany Bison on Friday, April 28 in a single nine-inning game starting at 4 p.m.
