(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College announces recognition by AffordableColleges.com for having one of the top 20 most affordable online bachelor’s degree programs in Human Resources Management in the nation.

AffordableColleges.com says its list represents some of “the best online schools for human resource management in the United States, each offering affordable, convenient programs designed to put you on the path to HR success.”

Geneva’s Bachelor of Professional Studies in Human Resources is a high-quality, adult degree program for students who aspire to human resources leadership or a management role in other departments within an organization. Adult students can complete a degree online in as few as 16 months with prior college experience. Coursework for the human resources degree emphasizes HR fundamentals, group dynamics, styles of communication, problems of supervision, ethics, decision-making and organizational behavior.

The AffordableColleges.com criteria include financial aid data, like net price and percent of students receiving financial aid, and student success data, which measures the overall value of the program to determine if it is truly worth the cost. The goal is to direct students to programs that are affordable in the short-term and will pay off and benefit them down the road.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics is projecting a 9% growth in positions for Human Resource Managers by 2024, well above the national average of 6.5%.
