(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College is pleased to announce the addition of Christy (Razete ‘16) Martin as the new Photography and Video Coordinator in the Public Relations and Marketing Services department. Martin is responsible for planning, coordinating, shooting and editing photos and videos to promote the college and engage constituents both on and off the campus.

Martin began her career interning at Agency 1903, a marketing agency in Pittsburgh, and then worked as a commercial photographer's assistant. Over the last year, she has been a full-time graphic designer for Think Communications Inc., a Pittsburgh advertising agency.

Martin graduated from Geneva College in 2016, with a degree in communication, concentrating in visual communication, and she also earned a minor in graphic design from the Art Institute program affiliated with Geneva. She looks forward to using her talents to help show her alma mater in its best light.

Director of Marketing Services and Public Relations Cheryl Johnston says, “Christy is a very talented photographer and videographer. And being a graduate who has a long history with Geneva, she knows and understands the institution, our mission and community. She’s perfectly suited to tell the story of Geneva through photos and video. We’re glad she’s here!”

Martin and her husband Daniel ’15 live in West View, PA. They attend Providence Presbyterian Church in Robinson Township where they teach Sunday School and work with graphic design and social media. She enjoys cooking and running, and she is happy to have turned her love of photography into a career.
