(BEAVER FALLS, PA) – Geneva College presents three performances of My Life’s Journey: An Evening with C.S. Lewis, a one-man show starring British actor David Payne, on November 3 and 4 in Geneva’s John White Chapel, Old Main.

General admission tickets of $10 each are on sale now at Geneva.edu/cslewis for the 7 p.m. show on Friday, November 3 and for the matinee at 11 a.m. and the evening performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 4. Geneva apologizes that its historic Old Main building is not handicap-accessible.

All tickets may be picked up at “will call” the evening of the performance or ahead of time by stopping by the Geneva Academic Affairs Office from Tuesday through Thursday between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The Academic Affairs Office is located on the first floor of Old Main (building #9 on the campus map).

Payne brings famed author C.S. Lewis to life by enacting a one-sided, living room conversation with a group of American writers set in 1963 in Lewis’ home near Oxford. The audience will experience Lewis’ engaging personality and spontaneous humor and hear of the people and events that inspired his thought and shaped his life.

Payne has portrayed C.S. Lewis in numerous stage productions such as Shadowlands and his self-written Weep for Joy and Wardrobes & Rings, which centers on the last meeting between C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Payne also completed an audio version of a new Bible translation and wrote and produced Prisoner of Passion, a story of the Apostle Paul in prison. Payne avidly tours around the U.S. and UK, and when he is not touring he is writing or filming.
