(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.)  – Geneva College announces establishment of the Wolves Club of Monaca Endowed Scholarship to benefit graduates of Central Valley High School who wish to attend Geneva. The scholarship will be awarded beginning in the 2019-2020 academic year.

Geneva officers will select one or several qualified recipients to receive the Wolves Club of Monaca Scholarship each year. Recipients of the scholarship will be graduates of Central Valley High School, demonstrate financial need, and have and maintain a 3.0 grade point average.

Wolves Club is a national organization and its chapters raise money to fund scholarships for high school students in their neighborhoods. Wolves Club of Monaca has donated an initial gift of $25,000 to endow the scholarship.

Louis Pupi of Wolves Club of Monaca says, “I am pleased to endow this scholarship on behalf of Wolves Club members. Our desire is to offer young men and women opportunities to receive a high-quality education locally at Geneva that will prepare them for meaningful contributions to their families and the Monaca and Center communities.”

Geneva Vice President of Institutional Advancement Dr. Marv Dewey remarks, “Geneva works very hard to keep a college degree affordable for students from every socio-economic background. The generosity of the Monaca Wolves Club through this endowed scholarship will help us educate more Beaver County students at Geneva.”

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Offering over 80 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, Adult Degree Programs with fully online and classroom options, and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva's programs are recognized for their high quality.
