(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College Theater will perform An Ideal Husband, by Oscar Wilde, as their spring 2018 production. Eight performances are scheduled at the Bagpiper Theater on the college campus in Beaver Falls, PA. Evening shows begin at 7:30 p.m. on February 15-17 and February 22-24. The curtain rises on Saturday matinees on February 17 and February 24 at 2 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before show time.
An Ideal Husband is a comedy-drama of the late Victorian era, in which a threat of blackmail in connection with past political corruption besets the public honor and personal happiness of a group of London aristocrats. The play is adapted and directed by Dr. David Kuhns with technical direction provided by Mindy Williams.
The show features Geneva students in key roles including Tyler Piper as Sir Robert Chiltern, Regan Scott as Lady Gertrude Chiltern, Abby Preston as Mrs. Cheveley, Ben Kennedy as Lord Goring and Kara Kauffman as Mabel Chiltern
