(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) — Geneva College announces its March Matchness gift program with a special matching offer from members of Geneva’s Board of Trustees and the Geneva College Advancement Board. Every monetary gift to the college during March 2018 will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $160,000.

The doubling of donations comes from the board members’ commitment of personal funds to encourage support of Christian higher education at Geneva. The goal for the 2018 March Matchness gift program is $320,000, money that will be used to meet expenses that exceed the amount of student tuition collected.

A March Matchness gift program website goes live on March 1 to enable donors to conveniently make their match-eligible gifts. All contributions during March will be matched and double in impact.

Along with cash donations, the college is accepting other forms of donation, such as stock certificates or other appreciated securities. Giving of this kind can be made by contacting the Office of Institutional Advance at 724-847-6514.

Last year, churches, organizations, families, alumni and friends donated $289,565 during March Matchness, setting a new record for non-estate giving.
