(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) - Geneva College releases its 2018 summer camp schedule that includes many returning athletic and educational camps and two new ones. Geneva’s summer athletic camps are designed to teach valuable skills to young athletes and develop a love of sports and Christian competition. Geneva’s educational camps allow for immersive and exciting learning. Each summer camp will teach participants valuable skills, and every camp is directed by experienced leaders in their respective fields.

Geneva is excited to announce two new crime scene investigation summer camps, “So You Want to Be a CSI Camp” for middle school and high school students and “True Crime Camp,” a full day camp for adults.

Educational Camps

So You Want to Be a CSI? (Middle & High School)
Date: June 25-29
Info: A brand new five-day camp at Geneva where campers will work with a mock crime scene, collect evidence, analyze interviews and 911 calls, learn how to dust for fingerprints and more. 

True Crime Camp for Adults                                                                        
Date: June 30
Info: During this educational one-day camp led by Dr. Laura Pettler, one of the country’s foremost experts in crime scene investigation, participants will explore the fundamentals of being a Crime Scene Investigator. A catered lunch is provided.

Musical Theatre Camp (Boys and Girls, grades 7 to 12)                                                     
Date: Various dates during June 11-22
Info: This two-week, evening session musical theatre camp offers students classes in acting, stage movement, stage combat, dance, vocal technique and preparation. A grand showcase is presented at the end of camp.

Athletic Camps

Soccer Camp
Info: Campers will learn fundamental skills, sportsmanship, positive attitude and the Geneva ball movement style
Dates: Day Camp - June 18-21 (Boys and Girls ages 6-10); Full Day Camp – June 27-30 (Boys and Girls ages 11-17); Residential Camp (Boys and Girls ages 11-17)

Girls Basketball Day Camp 
Info: The day camp is designed to offer individual and group instruction in all areas of the game. We work on all the fundamentals to make you a better player, including defense, rebounding, dribbling, passing, and shooting. Team competition is held every day. (Lunch is included)
Date: June 13-15 (Girls grades 4th-11th)

Girls Basketball Shooting Camp
Info: This camp focuses on shooting form, approach and building confidence. The camp focuses daily on becoming a better shooter/post player.
Date: June 22-24 (Girls grades 4th-11th)

Boys Basketball Day Camp 
Info: Young players will be able to work on defense, rebounding, shooting, dribbling and passing. Team competitions are held each day. (Lunch is included for full day camp only.)
Date: June 18-21, Half-Day 9 a.m. to noon (Boys grades K-3rd); Full-Day 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Boys grades 4th-11th)

Boys Basketball Overnight Camp
Info: Great camp for individual attention both on and off the basketball court. Focus on becoming a complete basketball player. Twenty-four-hour supervision with coaches and counselors provided. Team competition, lecture, film sessions and daily instruction in all areas of basketball included.
Date: June 24-27 (Boys grades 4th-11th)

Boys Basketball Elite Recruiting Clinic
Info: Instruction from Geneva College Head Basketball Coach Jeff Santarsiero and his staff/players, experience a college style practice, receive a camp reversible, and lunch and a campus tour included in the cost.
Date: August 11 (Boys grades 9th-12th)

More Than Conquerors Youth Football Camp 
Info: Campers will be immersed into the world of football, learning fundamentals and valuable skills while developing a love and respect for football
Date: July 9-11 (Ages 8-14)

Tornadoes Skills Volleyball Camp
Info: This day camp is designed for girls interested in improving their level of play. Skill development is emphasized through drills and competitive court play.
Date: June 28-29 (Girls grades 5th -9th)

Volleyball Mini Recruiting Clinic
Info: Combined with Geneva Volleyball Recruiting Day in the morning, the clinic will help improve skills.
Date: July 27 (All athletes entering grades 10th-12th

Youth Softball Camps                                                          
Info: Players will learn all aspects of the game of softball including hitting, fielding and base-running, players will work hard and develop a love for the game
Dates: Youth Clinic - June 18 (Girls ages 6-11); Day Clinic – June 19-20 (Girls ages 11-14); Overnight Clinic – June 12-13 (Girls ages 14-16); Overnight Clinic – July 24-25 (Girls ages 16-18)
