(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College employees joined together at the annual prayer breakfast on Tuesday, August 21, to pray for God’s blessings on the college, its programs and departments, its leadership, faculty and staff, its neighbors, and especially for its new and returning students.

Geneva Prayer BreakfastDr. Calvin L. Troup, President, exhorted the gathered to “take heart because the work we have to do this year is going to have an eternal impact for many, many people.” He added that the work is worth doing because it allows current employees “to join the people of generations before us and to join those who are going to come after us to seek Christ’s face together in education and to continue to serve faithfully together.”

More than 160 people attended the breakfast, which included singing Psalm 19 in praise, reading scripture and asking God to help Geneva in furthering Christ’s Great Commission. The prayer breakfast has a history of more than 25 years at Geneva.
