(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College invites high school students involved in the college search process to attend an Open House on either Monday, October 8, or Saturday, November 17, at the Beaver Falls campus. Attendees can register at Geneva.edu/openhouse.

Geneva College Open House events provide high schoolers with a glimpse of life in the Christ-centered academic community. Students may tour campus, explore majors, learn about life as a Geneva College student both in and out of the classroom, enjoy a meal in the dining hall, experience a class and learn about the admissions and financial aid process. Having lunch in the dining hall is a great way for students to engage in conversation and build relationships. Athletes have time to talk with coaches and meet other athletes.

Visiting a college gives students and parents both the rational and emotional information they need to make an informed decision about attending college.

“Visiting is the best way to find out if Geneva is right for you,” says Associate Vice President of Enrollment Dave Layton. “Reading material and looking at campus online is great, but there is nothing like seeing Geneva with your own eyes and meeting admission counselors, faculty and staff in person.”

Check-in for Open House begins at 8:45 a.m. in Alexander Hall. Students and staff will be on hand to assist families in parking and check-in. Scheduled activities begin at 9:15 a.m. and conclude around 3 p.m. Open House is sponsored by Geneva’s Admissions Office located on the lower level of Alexander Dining Hall.

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Adhering to the truth of Scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s Word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate well in today’s world.
