(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Nicole Braddock Bromley, a national spokesperson on sexual abuse, harassment and assault, will speak at Geneva College on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 9:30 p.m. in Skye Lounge, Student Center.       

Bromley is the founder and CEO of OneVOICE enterprises, which aims to stop child sex trafficking worldwide. She shares her personal story of overcoming childhood abuse to inspire others and bring awareness to the problem of sexual violence. She has a degree in Psychology and has worked with SAIN (Sexual Assault Intervention Network). Bromley speaks internationally at schools, churches, treatment facilities and conferences. 

Bromley has written several books including, Hush: Moving from Silence to Healing after Childhood Sexual Abuse, Breathe: Finding Freedom to Thrive in Relationships after Childhood Sexual Abuse, and SOAR: A Companion Workbook to “Hush” for Personal and Group Study, all of which focus on the mission of OneVOICE and aid in the awareness and healing of sexual assault victims. OneVoice’s mission statement is “Inspiring hope, healing, and change through education and awareness programs on sexual abuse, assault, and trafficking.”  Bromley lives in Columbus, OH with her husband and children. 

The event is sponsored by Geneva’s Upper Room, a student-led worship program, the Geneva branch of Fellowship of Christian Student-Athletes (FCA), and Geneva’s Health and Counseling Services Center.  It is open to all campus.
