(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College invites churches and the public to the second annual Reformation-themed worship service on Sunday, October 28 at 6:30 p.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse on the Beaver Falls campus. A reception with refreshments will follow the service in the same location.

barry-york.jpgDr. Barry York, the newly inaugurated President of the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS), will be sharing God’s word with those in attendance on October 28. York spent the first twenty years of his ministry planting churches. He now writes for the Gentle Reformation blog and co-hosts the 3GT podcast. In addition to these responsibilities, he is the editor of the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Journal. York and wife, Miriam, are blessed with six children and five grandchildren.

The service is in honor and celebration of God’s mighty work through the Holy Spirit during the Protestant Reformation. The focus will be on gospel truths recovered and proclaimed during the Reformation.
