Listen to the “Glory” Broadcast Airing this Christmas Season

(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.)  – The best of The Genevans’ 2018 Christmas Concerts will be aired on WORD-FM, 101.5 FM at 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 22 and on WBVP, 1230 AM at 1 p.m. and at 8 p.m. on December 24 and December 25. The a capella, student choir of Geneva College shared the good news of Christ’s birth in song in “Glory,” which was recorded at the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver Falls on November 30 and December 1 and will be broadcast for audiences to enjoy.

The concerts mark the 81st straight year The Genevans have performed a Christmas concert. The theme “Glory!” is a continuation and further refinement of the spring 2018 theme Soli Deo Gloria, which is “To God Alone be Glory” in Latin. 

The Genevans choir exists to glorify God and minister to people through the gift of music. Founded in 1938, the choir continues a rich heritage of choral singing dating from the early years of the college over a century and a half ago. The mission of The Genevans is to engage audiences while glorifying God and ministering with important spiritual truth. Over the course of their long history, The Genevans have acquired a reputation for choral excellence, musical variety and spiritual impact.
