This free cultural event is open to everyone and celebrates Dr. King’s life and legacy through the arts.

The event begins at 7 p.m. with a dessert reception for attendees. The formal portion of the program begins at 7:30 p.m. and features both Geneva and community members performing music, spoken word, oral presentations and artwork. The Terry Levels Jazz Band will provide music.

Kristie Martel, Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion, says, “The CSE seeks to provide opportunities to celebrate the diversity of God’s creation and for learning that leads to reconciliation. Through the arts, honoring the impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s dedication to racial equity is a poignant way for Geneva to fulfill our mission and recognize the beauty and creativity of God’s diverse world.”
