(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva announces the winners for the 2019 Winter Photo Contest. Photos were chosen based on creativity, Geneva spirit and overall aesthetics. Top winners are:

  • First place: Junior Biblical Studies major Rebekah Locke (@bekah.locke)
  • Second place: Freshman Engineering Major Noah Susa won 2nd place (@noahsusa)
  • Third place: Freshman Criminal Justice Major Arin Winters (@arin.winters)
  • Fourth place: Junior Communication Major Rachel Koontz (@rachelkoontzphotography)

Winners were awarded either a Sheetz or BFCAT (Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea) gift card and Geneva gear.

Students and others were challenged to snap photos around campus of an expected January snowstorm, nicknamed snowmageddon. A little less snow than predicted fell, but fortunately photographers captured the photos entered in the contest on Instragram.

The Geneva College Social Media team promises more photo contests and prizes to come and encourages members of the Geneva College community to stay alert to join in on the fun.
