(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College will welcome Stephen J. Nichols, PhD, President of Reformation Bible College and Chief Academic Office of Ligonier Ministries, as commencement speaker addressing traditional undergraduates during a ceremony for the class of 2019 on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Art Lindsley, Vice President of Theological Initiatives at the Institute, will speak to graduates of adult degree and graduate degree programs at 3 p.m. Both commencement ceremonies take place at Metheny Fieldhouse or Reeves Field (weather-dependent) on the campus of the college in Beaver Falls, PA.

Dr. Nichols is the author of 20 books including Beyond the 95 Theses, Jesus Made in America and A Time for Confidence. He hosts the podcasts 5 Minutes in Church History and Open Book. He lives with his wife, Heidi, and three children in Sanford, FL.

Rev. Lindsley oversees the development of a theology that integrates faith, work and economics. Most recently, he served as President and Senior Fellow at the C.S. Lewis Institute since 1987. Prior to that, he was Director of Educational Ministries at the Ligonier Valley Study Center and Staff Specialist with the Coalition for Christian Outreach in Pittsburgh, PA. He makes his home in Arlington, VA along with his wife, Connie, and two sons.

A baccalaureate worship service will be held on Friday evening, May 10, 2019, at 7 p.m. at Metheny Fieldhouse. Rev. Dr. David Garner, PhD, Professor of Systematic Theology, Westminster Theological Seminary, will deliver the sermon, “Living Outside the Bubble.”
