(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College welcomed the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) and Associated Reformed Presbyterian church (ARP) for their 2019 Synod meetings last week. The two synods gathered pastors, elders and delegates from RP and ARP churches across the country. Geneva hosted them for meals in Alex’s dining hall, joint worship services, and separate business meetings in Metheny Fieldhouse and in various classrooms across campus.

The RPCNA representatives arrived on campus late afternoon on Monday, June 10 and depart after lunch on Friday, June 14, while ARP representatives will arrive on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11. ARP delegates departed after dinner on Thursday, June 13. Each denomination held meetings with their respective presbyteries, with additional moderator meetings for the ARP.  There is a collective barbeque lunch for the joint Synod meeting on Wednesday on Old Main lawn, hosted by Erskine Theological Seminary, Geneva College, Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary.
