(BEAVER FALLS, PA) – Geneva College Pittsburgh Campus at the Center for Urban Biblical Ministry (CUBM) announces its new Bachelor of Professional Studies in Community Leadership degree program, which is now accepting applications from its first cohort of students to start in January 2020.

The program is offered in an accelerated format intended for busy adults living or working in Pittsburgh, PA, with classes held on the Pittsburgh Campus at CUBM, 7418 Penn Avenue, Point Breeze.

Richard Noble, D.Min., Coordinator of the Community Leadership program, says, “We understand the importance of family, work and other commitments, and we can help people finish their degree. We do this in an environment where previous experience is celebrated and Christian values are upheld.”

The Community Leadership program is designed to prepare professionals for roles in both non-profit organizations and businesses, as well as lay positions in ministries and community leadership. In earning this Geneva bachelor’s degree, students will acquire leadership, motivation, decision making, communication, interpersonal relationship, ethics and technical/computer skills that could qualify them for jobs like program director, administration and church leadership.

Students may earn an associate degree and then apply to continue to the bachelor’s degree. The program is designed as a degree completion program in which previously earned credits count toward the B.P.S. in Community Leadership. Interested individuals can contact Geneva College Pittsburgh Campus for more information about the program, registration and financial aid at 412-247-9010 or visit www.geneva.edu/pittsburgh.
