Geneva Releases Fall 2019 Visit Events Schedule

(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College releases its schedule of special visit events for fall 2019, including an invitation to prospective students to attend two Open House events, STEM Day, and “Explore Your Major” Day. Students may also a schedule personal visit day for a more customized experience.

Visit days at Geneva provide high school or transfer students with vital information about financial aid, available majors and student life, and students encounter the unique, Christ-centered community as if they were already a part of it. A campus visit helps students and their families determine if Geneva is the right fit for them.

The fall semester visit events schedule includes:

Fall Open House
Friday, October 11, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to current Geneva students, discuss financial aid options and learn about the academic calling that Geneva College embraces.

STEM Day
Friday, October 18, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Open to high school or transfer students interested in a STEM major. Visitors attending STEM Day learn what it is like to major in math, biology, nursing, physics, computer science, chemistry or engineering at Geneva.

“Explore Your Major” Day
Monday, November 11, 2019 from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Geneva’s Explore Your Major Day provides a look into majors in all areas outside of STEM. Students will meet with faculty in the major of interest, tour campus and interact with current students. 

Fall/Winter Open House
Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Available for all, Open House provides a glimpse into what life at Geneva is like with faculty meetings, campus tours and helpful information on financial aid and more.

Personal visits can be scheduled on any available weekday. During the month of September 2019, students who schedule and attend a personal visit will receive two free concert tickets for the highly anticipated MercyMe and Crowder performance at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on Friday, October 4, 2019. In addition, student visitors will be able to purchase an unlimited number of Geneva community priced tickets at $15 a piece.
