(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – The Geneva College Theater Program will be producing two productions for the 2020 spring season. The Geneva College Theater Program will begin with Where there’s a Will, there’s a Way!, featuring iconic selections from the works of William Shakespeare. Where there’s a Will, there’s a Way!, is being directed by Geneva College English professor, Dr. David Kuhns, and will be performed at 7:30 PM, on February 20-22 and 27-29, with matinees at 2:00 PM, on February 22 and 29. Following will be the annual Student Directed One Acts, an evening of one act plays directed and performed by students. The Student Directed One Acts, production will be overseen by Geneva College Theater Program director, Mindy Williams, and will be performed at 7:30 PM, on April 23-25, with a matinee at 2:00 PM on April 25.

Beginning with Where there’s a Will, there’s a Way!, the Geneva College Theater Program will showcase scenes from Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, and many more, showing the many ways we can exhibit passion in our lives. The Student Directed One Acts will feature a wide range of subjects, causing audiences to laugh, cry, and remember the joys of living. The Geneva College Theater Program is excited to bring these productions to life in the Bagpiper Theater.

Benjamin Kennedy, the Geneva College Theater Program marketing director, is excited to welcome audiences to the Bagpiper Theater this season. “I’ve been performing for my entire life, and there’s nothing like a show in the Bagpiper. We are given a wonderful opportunity not only to entertain and perform for our audiences, but also to draw them into the storytelling experience. No other theater is capable of providing such a high-quality experience in such an authentic and intimate way as the Bagpiper Theater.”

All performances are open to those outside the Geneva community. Admission is $7 for adults, and $5 for students and children under thirteen. Tickets may be reserved by calling the box office at 724-847-5099.
