Campus Visit Events Give High School Students Authentic Geneva Experience

(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College invites high school students involved in the college search process to attend one of two Open House events, Monday, February 17, or Friday, March 20, at the Beaver Falls campus. Attendees can learn more and register at Geneva.edu/openhouse.

Geneva College Open House events provide high schoolers with a glimpse of life in an academic community in which faith in Jesus Christ and the perfect truth of the Bible are integrated into all academics, athletics and activities. Students may tour campus, explore over 145 majors and programs, learn about life as a Geneva College student both in and out of the classroom, enjoy a meal in the dining hall, experience a class and learn about the admissions and financial aid processes.

Having lunch in the dining hall is an opportunity for students to engage in conversations and build relationships. Athletes have time to talk with coaches and meet other athletes.

Visiting a college gives students and parents both the rational and emotional information they need to make an informed decision about attending college.

“Visiting is the best way to find out if Geneva is right for you,” says Associate Vice President of Enrollment Dave Layton. “Researching a college through the website and printed materials is great, but there is nothing like seeing Geneva with your own eyes and meeting admissions counselors, faculty and staff in person.”

The Geneva College community welcomes prospective students to campus and seeks to give them an authentic experience of life at Geneva. Visiting parents and their prospective students can ask questions and receive answers to any concerns they may have.

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Offering over 145 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva’s programs are recognized for their high quality. Geneva is included on Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s “2019 Best College Values” list and has one of the top undergraduate engineering programs in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report. Adhering to the truth of Scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s Word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate well in today’s world.
