(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College announces that all classes offered during May Term 2020 will be delivered exclusively through online learning due to the coronavirus pandemic and orders by the governor of Pennsylvania. May Term begins on May 11 and runs through June 4, 2020.

Tuition for courses originally scheduled to be on campus will remain the same, however, the college is waiving the $100 technology fee commonly charged to students because these May Term classes will not use an external hosting platform.

May Term online courses are offered in a variety of disciplines, including Bible, Psychology, Humanities, Political Science and others. All courses are taught by Geneva professors.

In efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19, Geneva moved all undergraduate courses for the spring semester online and implemented tele-work rules last month in accordance with directives from the commonwealth.

Geneva College is a Christ-centered academic community that provides a comprehensive education to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor. Offering over 145 traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva’s programs are recognized for their high quality. Geneva is included on the Kiplinger’s Personal Finance “2019 Best College Values – Private Universities” list and has a top undergraduate engineering program in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report. Adhering to the truth of Scripture, a Geneva education is grounded in God’s Word as well as in a core curriculum designed to prepare students vocationally to think, write and communicate well in today’s world.
