(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) -- Geneva College hosts and sponsors Unified Vigil at Reeves Field, Beaver Falls, PA from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 25. The time of coming together in prayer for unity is part of the first annual Beaver County UNITY Week Celebration, a joint initiative of the Beaver County Community and Law Enforcement Coalition (BCCLEC) and the Inclusion, Diversity and Awareness Council (IDAC). This event and other UNITY Celebration Week events are free and open to the public and will include dynamic speakers, food trucks, resources and entertainment.

UNITY (Uniting Neighbors for Inclusive Actions and Transparent Law Enforcement for You) Celebration Week is meant to inspire spirited dialogue to advance systemic and intentional change in Beaver County by illuminating the substantial contributions of all residents.

Organizers aim to promote relationships, actions of common interests and opportunities to create equity for all. The events will follow CDC guidelines regarding masks (strongly encouraged) and social distancing. Participants are asked to wear a black shirt to the events in support of UNITY.
