(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – The Geneva College Office of Admissions announces that it will offer limited on-campus visits for prospective students and their families, beginning Wednesday, June 10. One family at a time, consisting of one student and two guests, will meet with Admissions staff and take a campus tour during one of three time slots each weekday—9 a.m., 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.

The tours will be conducted in accordance with all health and safety guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and local and state authorities. Visitors and staff will be required to observe social distancing and wear masks while on campus. Hand sanitizer stations will also be available throughout the campus.

These visits will give prospective students and their families the opportunity to experience a campus tour, meet with an admissions counselor and athletic coaches, and discuss academic programs and financial aid. To register for an on-campus visit time slot, go to https://www.geneva.edu/admissions/visit/. The Office of Admissions will continue to offer virtual visit events as well.

These changes are made in light of Geneva’s plans to return to face-to-face instruction in the fall. Beaver County is now moving into Pennsylvania’s Green Phase of reopening, which enables Geneva to prepare for classroom instruction.

According to Geneva College President Dr. Calvin L. Troup, “The College is preparing to welcome students back to campus for the fall semester. The strength of a Geneva education stands on ‘life-on-life’ instruction with the faculty, conversation in the dining hall, participation in student activities—living together pro Christo et patria in community. We do not know what course COVID-19 might take, but we are preparing to begin together, in person, on campus.”

Those who cannot come to campus can experience Geneva virtually by going to https://www.geneva.edu/sights-sounds.
