Geneva College Celebrates Veterans Day with Community Voices

(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College will celebrate Veterans Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 with educational and testimonial videos from faculty and staff members, students and alumni published throughout the day.

Alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and friends are invited to tune in as Geneva recognize, honor and remember those who fought and gave their lives for our country. The virtual program includes short videos from members of the Geneva community who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. The day will begin with a virtual flag raising ceremony at 8 a.m. and conclude with a video rendition of Taps at 10 p.m. Featured speakers include Chaplain G. Barry Davis ’75 (United States Army Chaplains Corps.) and CMSgt Jeffery M. Barnes ’01 (United States Air Force).
