Geneva College Hosts Beaver Falls National Day of Prayer Breakfast

(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College hosts the Beaver Falls National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 7:30 a.m. in the College Hill Reformed Presbyterian Church Sanctuary. A light breakfast will be provided outside afterwards.

This dedicated time to gather and turn to the Lord in prayer as a community and nation will be done so under the common theme, “Lord Pour Out Your Life, Love, Liberty.” The focus is scripture 2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

Due to COVID-19 space restrictions, participantss must register in advance and follow Pennsylvania-mandated protocols of masking and distancing. The event will be livestreamed.

The National Day of Prayer, held on the first Thursday of every May, has been acknowledged by Congress as an annual event since it was signed into law by President Harry S. Truman in 1952. It strives to emphasize the nation′s love and dependence on God.
