(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College signed cooperative agreements with the speech-language pathology master’s programs of Clarion University of Pennsylvania and Thiel College for reserved seating admissions and other incentives for Geneva Communication Disorders graduates.

Under the arrangements, Geneva undergraduate Communication Disorders students benefit from assurances of early or set-aside placements at two Pennsylvania graduate programs. The working degree in communication disorders / speech-language pathology is a master’s degree, and these agreements ensure Geneva undergraduates of reserved places to continue their education. The partner schools improve the quality of their programs by accepting highly qualified Geneva students.

The five-year agreement with Clarion’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP) program establishes reserved admission for qualified Geneva graduates each year. The Thiel MS-SLP agreement runs through 2025 and enables early admission for Geneva grads beginning in their junior undergraduate year along with a guaranteed scholarship of at least $9,800 a year and up to $14,700 a year based on the student’s academic performance at Geneva.
