Geneva Holds COVID-19 Vaccine Information Session for Students

(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College will hold a COVID-19 Vaccine Information Session for students this evening, April 21 at 7 p.m. The virtual event includes a panel of experts who will provide insights into vaccines from the perspectives of medicine, biology, and Christian ethics.

Provost Melinda Stephens, PhD, will moderate the session. She is joined by Geneva COVID-19 Advisory Council member Dr. Gregory Poland, Director of the Mayo Clinic's Vaccine Research Group, who will explain the new vaccines, with additional discussion by a Geneva College panel of Physician Assistant of Health Services, Beth Carlson, MPAS, PA-C, Biology Chair Daryl Sas, PhD, and Bible/Philosophy Professor Bob Frazier, PhD.

The panel will take questions submitted in advance.
