(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – The Geneva College Golden Tornadoes Marching Band will perform on the streets of the College Hill neighborhood on Tuesday, August 24 at 6 p.m. in what has become an informal, annual start-of-school tradition.

Band Director Mark Godwin says, “The band members are excited to showcase their hard work on Tuesday. It means a lot to them to get back into performing in front of others and bringing the campus and community together.  It will be a great evening for the band, faculty and staff at Geneva, and all of our neighbors on College Hill.”

The performance will be livestreamed on the Geneva College Facebook page (facebook.com/genevacollege) beginning after 6 p.m.

The Golden Tornadoes Marching Band will perform at four home football games this fall – September 11, October 2 (Homecoming), October 30, and November 6, and participate in the 43rd Annual Beaver County Invitational Marching Band Festival hosted at the college’s Reeves Field on September 25.
