(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – The Geneva College Homecoming Parade is back after a hiatus of 15 years. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2 in downtown Beaver Falls at 12th Street and 8th Avenue and make its way to the Geneva campus.

Parade grand marshal George Quay III, Beaver Falls mayor, and the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes Marching Band are among 30 groups participating. Also marching are various student groups, the Geneva College Homecoming Court, alumni award recipients, community organizations, including Special Olympics of Beaver County and the Beaver Falls fire and police departments, and more.

If you are part of an on-campus group or a community organization, please consider registering to march with us. Feel free to march, walk, build a float, or even serve as a volunteer for the event. Registration forms can be found at www.geneva.edu/homecoming/parade

The parade travels a route north on 7th Avenue to Geneva’s campus and then follows the access road alongside Reeves Field.

Along with the parade, Geneva’s annual Homecoming and Family Weekend features many alumni reunions, fun activities, food trucks, speakers, musical performances and sports competitions. New events include the black-tie/dress-uniform Geneva Military Ball, the 100 Years of Geneva Engineering Celebration Dinner, Gold & White and Legacy Parade Watching Reception, McCartney Society Book Club Meeting and Geneva COVID-19 Project Fund 5K Run.
