(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College’s Diversity & Inclusion Office, Center for Student Engagement and the Coalition for Christian Outreach host the Convergence 2021 Symposium on Saturday, Nov. 13 in Skye Lounge, Student Center on the Beaver Falls campus.

The Reverend Saleem Ghubril, an ordained Presbyterian minister, will open the day with the address, “Revealing Our True Colors.” Ghubril is executive director of The Pittsburgh Promise, which has sent more than 10,000 urban youth to college in the past 12 years while providing over $150 million in scholarships. Since 1985, when he founded The Pittsburgh Project, he has devoted his life to serving people in his community. Geneva College is a Preferred Partner of The Pittsburgh Promise.

The cost to attend is $25 general admission, $10 for college students and free for CCO staff, Geneva students, faculty and staff. Lunch is available for $6.75 in Alexander Dining Hall. To learn more and to register, visit geneva.edu/convergence.
