(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – The Geneva College choir, The Genevans, will perform their 2021 annual Christmas Concerts live at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, and Saturday, Dec. 4.

Continuing a Christmas tradition, The Genevans will sing at First Presbyterian Church of Beaver Falls, 1103 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. The doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the organ prelude will begin at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free to attend and is open to the public. During intermission, a love offering will be received.

The 2021 concert titled, “Immanuel, God with Us,” celebrates the Incarnation of God’s Son Jesus Christ.

About The Genevans

Founded in 1938, The Genevans choir continues a rich heritage of choral singing dating from the early years of Geneva College over a century and a half ago. Over the course of its long history, The Genevans has acquired a reputation for choral excellence, musical variety and spiritual impact.

A mixed-voice choir of 50 to 75 members, The Genevans is open to Geneva College students of all majors. Choir members are selected by audition during the first week of each fall semester. Rehearsals, which include devotions and prayer along with music practice, are held for two hours twice a week.

In addition to serving the Geneva College community through their annual Homecoming, Christmas and spring concerts, The Genevans typically tours the United States each spring. Every four years The Genevans also takes its music ministry around the globe with international tours to destinations such as Great Britain, Poland, France, and southeast Asia.
