(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – The Reverend Helen M. Jackson ’10, ’13 MSOL, Executive Director of Geneva College Pittsburgh Campus, has been selected as one of the New Pittsburgh Courier’s 2021 Women of Excellence.

The award celebrates African American women in the Pittsburgh region who inspire others through vision and leadership, exceptional achievements, and community service. Jackson will receive this honor on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel.

Jackson has been Executive Director of Geneva College Pittsburgh Campus since 2020 and has served at the Center for Urban Biblical Ministry since 2014. With her husband, the Rev. Andrew Jackson, she founded Abundant Mercy Ministries, a community outreach, evangelistic ministry in 2002. The Jacksons continue to serve at Webster Avenue Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Pittsburgh. Their book, “The Modern Couple,” is used in their current ministry, The Marriage Works.
