Geneva Hosts STEAM Night for Children K-5

(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Children from kindergarten through fifth grade and their parents are invited to STEAM Night at Geneva College from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. The free event includes fun and educational hands-on learning opportunities at stations around campus to enable children with their parents to explore science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM).

Some of the activities for the night include:

  • Building a Flashlight
  • A Science Escape Room
  • A Musical Instrument Petting Zoo

Deana Mack, PhD, Associate Professor and Education Department Chair, says, “Here at Geneva, our philosophy to educate for life includes engaging the youth in both the arts and sciences. STEAM Night creates a space for our community to come together and help foster the curiosity and growth of our children.”
