(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Geneva College received 2022-2023 Military Spouse Friendly® School designation for the second consecutive year after earning 2022-2023 Military Friendly® School designation earlier this spring at the Gold level.

The Military Spouse Friendly School designation is granted to those colleges and universities that have implemented policies that recognize the needs and concerns of military spouses and their families. Geneva was recognized for having admissions, retention, career counseling, and mentoring programs suitable to alleviating the difficulties that military spouses face.

Military Friendly is an organization owned by a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business that strives to set and promote standards in and through educational opportunities provided by various colleges and universities for the military community. The Military Friendly team determines the list through the processing of data that complies to the organization’s criteria. The Military Friendly survey, driven by vast amounts of data, is reviewed and developed with the assistance of an independent Military Friendly Advisory Council.
