Cara Fulton, Director of Career Development

Greetings Alumni! My name is Cara Fulton, and I am the new director of Career Development at Geneva. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and inform you of opportunities to engage with our office. As I get acclimated to Geneva College I am eager to establish new employer partnerships and expand the internship and job options for students. To succeed at this goal, Alumni referrals are essential! This past spring semester we launched Handshake which is our new employment management system. Already, we have over 1,400+ employers who are posting positions nationally and internationally. If your company is offering internships or entry-level positions please alert the office. If not on Handshake, all we need is the name of the contact person, business name, and email address in order to send them an invitation to our platform. Handshake allows the employer to post positions, view student profiles, and permit students to submit their application.

Lastly, we have some wonderful events scheduled for this academic year. We would love to have you! Giving a little of your time goes a long way with helping prepare current students for professional life post-graduation.
