Beaver Falls, PA- Geneva College is excited to announce the addition of a new leadership position, the Associate Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement. Our previous Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Lindsay Courteau, is moving into this role.

In this position, Courteau will serve as the institutional lead on the development of strategic partnerships and engagement in the larger community.  This position allows Geneva to increase its work and presence in the community on a local and regional level. Public relations, strategic planning, partnerships, community representation, and government relations are some of the primary areas of focus.

“Lindsay Courteau has developed great local connections for the College true to our love for Beaver Falls and the broader community in Beaver County. With her promotion to Associate Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Lindsay will play a pivotal, missional role for Geneva—advancing our desire to be a faithful and fruitful partner in the prosperity of our city, county, and region.” – Calvin Troup ’83, PhD, President.

Courteau brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position as she has a long history doing this work throughout the county and Pittsburgh area. As the previous Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Geneva College, Courteau began representing the college, and the Office of the President at many events publicly on the local and regional level. Currently, Courteau serves as the President of the Beaver Area School District Education Foundation Board of Trustees and is a Board Member for the Beaver County Cancer and Heart Association. Courteau is also the former Chair of the Board for the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce and is involved in volunteering in many other local political and nonprofit organizations.
