WELCOME WEEK AT GENEVA COLLEGE
Welcome Week, a 4-day mandatory orientation, will be held from Wednesday, August 19 through Saturday, August 22.

RESIDENT STUDENT CHECK-IN & MOVE-IN 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.Location: Roundabout & Your Residence Hall We are so glad that you are here! We will be moving students in at certain times based on the floor of your Residence Hall. Please see the below graphic with the details for your move-in time. Once you’ve made it to campus and enter through the Geneva arch, a friendly face will greet you at the roundabout to welcome you to campus and begin the check-in process.

HOSPITALITY STATION 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.Location: 2020 Class (McKee) Pavilion Who doesn’t love freebies? After moving in, stop by the Hospitality Station to pick up gifts for both students and parents - and grab a donut & some coffee while you’re at it. |

EXTRA OPTIONS 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.Various Locations Have some extra time? Go to the mailroom to pick up your mailbox key or stop by the Bookstore to pick up your books if you didn’t have them delivered to your room. The Bookstore, McCartney Library, Brig, and Student Center are all available for you all day. |

COMMUTER CHECK-IN 11:30am. – 1 p.m.Inside Alexander Hall Welcome to campus! We’re so excited to have you here! When you pull into campus, follow the parking signs. You'll then follow the signs to the check-in tents, make sure you completed your forms and have an ID picture. We will also provide meal tickets for commuters to use during Welcome Week. |

EARLY ARRIVAL CHECK-IN (Commuters) 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.Alexander Hall Commuters who have arrived early to campus for any number of reasons (fall sport, band, etc) will also check-in this morning at the main check-in tents near Alexander Hall. Early Arrivals who are staying on campus may proceed directly to their residence halls. |

LUNCH 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.Alexander Hall or Local Options New students can enjoy a meal at Alexander Dining Hall with their family (up to two members can eat for free). Additional tickets can be purchased inside Alexander Hall. You are also welcome to eat at a restaurant in the local community. Here are some of our favorites.

MATH PROFICIENCY EXAM & MATH PLACEMENT EXAM* 8:30 a.m.SE 022 The Math Proficiency exam is for students who have not established math proficiency with a SAT, ACT, or CLT score, or a College Algebra class. The Placement Exam is primarily for Math, Science, and Engineering Majors and will place students into MAT 120 and MAT 161. |

CHURCH WITH A FRIENDVarious Times It can be awkward to try out a new church, but ahoy, we've made it less awkward. There are about 20 upperclassmen who would like to take you with them to experience their church. (Note that in order to sign up for Church with a Friend that you'll need to activate your Operoo Account. You can find the Church With a Friend Registration Form under the Form Library of Operoo. Operoo is Geneva's Event Registration and Risk Management Software). |
