Current Projects

PCO Bridge – Cloud-based application that links Ministry Platform (church management system) with Planning Center (service planning software) to simplify scheduling and management of volunteers.

Ministry Platform API Wrapper – Php wrapper code that enables easy access to MP data via its REST API.  Code is open source and in use by a number of churches across the country to provide integration of web sites and applications with their church’s data.

Planning Center API Wrapper – Php wrapper code that enables easy access to Planning Center data via its REST API.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining the faculty at Geneva I spent over 30 years working in various technology and business positions. I’ve had the opportunity to develop software and lead development teams for applications ranging from military aircraft systems to hospital medical equipment management to church member data management. I’ve supported high-speed networking hardware and software for a global customer base. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a company as small as seven people as well as lead a global team of 65. My most recent project is project manager / owner representative for a $12.5 million expansion and remodeling project for Grace Community Church. A 52,000 sf addition was constructed and 33,000 sf of existing space remodeled to better reach the people of Cranberry Township.

  • Married (Jean) with three adult children (Nick, John, Chris)
  • Avid college and Steelers football as well as NCAA basketball fan
  • Enjoy amusement parks, playing guitar and coaching youth sports
  • We live in Cranberry Township and enjoy finding good pizza and ice cream
  • Member and volunteer at Orchard Hill Church
