nr_msolconference.jpgGeneva College′s Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program will host the annual Serving Leader Conference on Thursday, April 18, 2013. This full-day, experiential workshop serves individuals and organizations in western Pennsylvania by equipping them in serving leadership and connecting them with like-minded partners.

The theme for this year′s conference is "Trust and Renewal in the Workplace." Conference participants will learn how to identify workplace relationships that have been broken by issues of trust, take steps to correct problems and enhance performance, and develop plans to maintain trust in an organization.

The keynote speakers are Drs. Dennis and Michelle Reina, co-founders of the Reina Trust Building Institute, co-authors of Rebuilding Trust in the Workplace and Trust and Betrayal in the Workplace. Recognized internationally as authorities on workplace trust, the Reinas have collectively devoted over 40 years to research, developed tools to measure trust and helped many organizations achieve measurable business results. Their research-based consulting firm received the Global HR Excellence Award as well as the Strategic Leadership award for its work with building trust amongst organizations.

Attendees will be invited to participate in a pre-conference survey to measure three dimensions of trust among the organizations represented at the conference. The Reinas will use aggregate data collected through the surveys to provide relevant examples for the participants

The 2013 MSOL/Serving Leader Conference will be held at Pittsburgh Marriott North from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. The cost of the conference is $89 for MSOL alumni and students, and $99 for the general public. This price includes continental breakfast and lunch.
