BEAVER FALLS, Pa. –Holocaust survivor Sam Gottesman will share his experiences during an evening lecture in the John White Chapel on Wednesday, November 8, at 7 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the general public.
Gottesman, a resident of Pittsburgh, was born in Ilosva, Hungary and deported to Auschwitz in April, 1944. After being transferred to a number or work camps, including Bergen-Belsen, he was liberated by U.S. forces on April 10, 1945.
