Geneva College faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the Communication Process Poster Session on Wednesday, April 30 from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in the Benedum Room of Alexander Hall. This event provides an opportunity for students to present their research in applying a communication theory to a cultural artifact.
"Communication process has been a really interesting class, giving us the opportunity to learn about various theories of how we connect to and communicate with other people," said junior Zachary Sheldon. "It has been a fascinating study and, personally, I′m really excited to talk to people about Cultivation Theory."
Nine student pairs from the Communication Process class will display their posters. These students have also been encouraged to present their finding at the Pennsylvania Communication Association′s annual conference.
"Writing our paper and preparing the poster has really taught me the value of research," said junior Richard Louther. "Everyone in class has done great scholarly work in preparation for this event."
