The Career Development Center is hosting an on-campus job fair for Geneva students today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Metheny Fieldhouse. Over 50 organizations looking for employees and interns are expected to participate in a time for Geneva students to network and make contacts.

Student Musicians Perform Junior and Senior Recitals at Geneva College

In celebration of their musical growth, two students will perform recitals. A junior piano recital will be performed by Zhang, Yu “Alice” on February 28 at 7 p.m. in John White Chapel and a senior voice recital by will be sung Annie Dawson on February 29 at 4 p.m. also in John White Chapel.

Chesterton wrote: “This at least seems to me the main problem: How can we contrive to be at once astonished at the world and yet at home in it?” The philosophical life consists in a posture of wonder toward the world, expressed in fundamental questions about being, doing, knowing, and humanness. To be human is to philosophize. To presume that one can opt out is to deny one’s own humanness. Christian believers particularly seek the love of wisdom (philosophy) as the love of God.

Vos Memorial Lecture at 7 p.m. in Skye Lounge, Student Center. Both events are free and open to the public.

The Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) Nursing Program was ranked #5 for associate degrees in Nursing in the Northeast Region of the United States this week, according to NursingProcess.org. In cooperation with CCBC, Geneva’s four-year Nursing program empowers students to earn the associate degree in nursing (ADN) from CCBC along with the bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) from Geneva.

Geneva College Athletics Set to Add Men’s Golf in 2021

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – On Monday afternoon the Geneva College Athletics Department announced plans to add men's golf as a varsity sport, beginning in the fall of 2021. This addition will bring Geneva's varsity offerings to 19 athletic programs overall, and men's golf will follow two years after Geneva began a women's golf program in the fall of 2019.
