Mrs. Kathryn Copeland Donaldson earned a B.M. at Westminster Choir College, NJ and a Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Academy of Music, London. During her time in the UK, Kathryn regularly performed with Gabrieli Consort, English Concert, BBC Singers, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Brompton Oratory Choir and toured throughout the UK, Germany, Romania and Syria. She has sung in venues such as Buckingham Palace, St. Paul′s Cathedral and St. Martin in the Fields. Since her return to the USA, Kathryn has performed as a soloist with the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Camerata, and performed the roles of Countess Rosina in 'The Marriage of Figaro' and Micaela in ‘Carmen′ with Undercroft Opera, Cathleen in ‘Riders to the Sea′ and Rowan in ‘The Little Sweep,′ both with Microscopic Opera. She has sung in recital for Pittsburgh′s 'Music in a Great Space' concert series, is a chorister with Pittsburgh Opera, and recently made her Royal Albert Hall, London debut with husband bass-baritone Sean G. Donaldson.
